David Cook Defends Jason Castro in Larry King

Jason Castro was being perceived as someone who smokes weed based on a question he received during the Larry King show.

David has this to say of Jason: “I actually lived with Castro for a while. And I can promose you that representation of him is completely false.”

In an excerpt of the story:

Cook said he always wondered how Archuleta and he were going to sound on the duet they performed last week.

“A lot of the feedback was positive,” Cook said, “so …”

“Really?” Archuleta snapped. “That’s good. At least it is on his side. I think he would just drown my voice out.”

Cook then got diplomatic, then offered a friendly jab at his ex-roommate, Jason.

“To be able to share the stage with these guys every week was what made it fun for me, so I would welcome any of it. Archie. Carly. Everybody but Jason.”
